Visitor Overview
The Muskegon Lake Nature Preserve is open daily from dawn to dusk. Our sanctuary offers a peaceful escape for nature lovers, educators, and families alike. Explore our diverse ecosystems and learn about the local flora and fauna that call this preserve home. Think of the Preserve as a living classroom. You are also welcome to fish from the bank or the fishing piers on the Al Bell Trail or the Wilder Riverwalk. Bike riders are also invited to explore the Preserve as long as they observe the posted signs about where bikes and e bikes are allowed. The Muskegon County Bicycling Coalition and Hiker provide additional information about biking or hiking at the Preserve.
